MB Quart has its outstanding range of technically
advanced yet easy to use marine audio visual
equipment on display at this year's METS
2008. Specifically developed to meet the
requirements of the marine environment,
each product line of the Nautic Audio range
undergoes stringent testing to ensure it
can withstand rain, saltwater and even extreme
temperatures, offering boaters highly reliable
equipment that provides brilliant clarity
and sound quality.
The innovative product range includes the
MB Quart iPod* dock, the latest addition
to the MB Quart Nautic Audio / Visual range
and this season's must-have accessory to
complement boat audio systems. Also on display
is the WM1-BB (Black Box) an exceptional
audio visual processing centre (APC) that
enables boat owners to control all multimedia
entertainment onboard through one central
system.
MB Quart iPod* Dock

Launched earlier this year, the MB Quart
iPod Dock is designed for iPods, iPod nanos,
iPod Touch and iPhones. The docking station
allows boaters to enjoy all their tunes
onboard by enabling owners to control their
music from their MB Quart entertainment
system's faceplate as well as any of the
range's compact controllers. For additional
convenience the iPod* dock can be mounted
either vertically or horizontally on practically
any surface or dash on the boat. It also
comes complete with interchangeable adapters
and insets and connects to any cable with
30-pin iPod dock connector.
This fantastic piece of equipment comes
in a choice of two colours, black or chrome
bezel and is exceptionally priced at £79.00
including VAT (UK RRP).
MB Quart WM1-BB
Featuring MB Quart's dynamic design, outstanding
performance and quality finish, the APC
black box is a flexible and easy to use
unit.
German engineered, the WM1-BB APC is compatible
with a range of MB Quart Nautic audio and
visual equipment, offering a convenient,
versatile solution that can be a made as
simple or full featured as needed to suit
users individual entertainment requirements.
The processing centre seamlessly combines
any one or all of the following equipment
into one system; Slave DVD and CD players,
LCD hardwired radio controllers and infrared
remotes, iPods* and MP3 players and CD changers.
Features also include complete iPod and
satellite integration as well as USB flash
drive capabilities supporting up to 4Gb
of MP3 and WMA formats. In addition, the
APC accepts the MB Quart I-connect cable
allowing users full control and viewing
of digital displays on the receiver and
controller faceplate from an iPod.
With a power down memory to retain preset
information, the WM1-BB APC also comes complete
with an AM/FM tuner with 12 Am/18 FM presets
and 5 preset EQ settings that enable users
to change the sound to suit the occasion
as well as 3 RCA pre-outs including subwoofer
level and crossover and an AUX line input.
Specifically designed for the marine environment,
the processing centre is manufactured with
conformal coated PCB, making it moisture-resistant
and able to withstand salt and UV exposure.
The WM1-BB (Black Box) audio visual processing
centre (APC) is competitively priced at
£119.00 including VAT (UK RRP).
The German-engineered MB Quart Nautic Audio
range is making its METS debut this year.
