A CLASE LAUNCHES MB QUART NAUTIC AUDIO RANGE
AT LONDON BOAT SHOW 2008

appointed the exclusive European Distributor
and Support Centre for MB Quart Marine
Audio Visual equipment and is launching
the range at the Collins Stewart London
Boat Show 2008. Alongside this innovative
series, C A Clase is also showcasing
a wide selection of satellite communication
and navigation products including
the revolutionary Geonav 3, the latest
model in the highly regarded Geonav
GPS chart plotter series.

MB Quart Nautic Audio is internationally
renowned for designing and manufacturing
technically advanced yet easy to use marine
audio visual systems ranging from entry
level to high performance equipment. Specifically
developed to meet the requirements of the
severe marine environment, each product
line undergoes stringent testing to ensure
it can withstand rain, saltwater and even
extreme temperatures, offering boaters highly
reliable equipment that provides brilliant
clarity and outstanding sound quality.
On display at London is the MB Quart WM1-DVD
receiver, a radio / CD / DVD entertainment
system, compatible with Apple iPods(T) enabling
boaters to enjoy and control their tunes
whilst at sea. Playing DVD, CD, MP3 and
WMA formats, the WM1-DVD receiver features
a multi regional DVD for marine OEM export,
five preset EQ settings allowing users to
change the sound to suit the occasion, an
easy to read display complete with fold
down faceplate, a power down memory that
retains preset and audio information as
well as a subwoofer output level control.
The system also includes a waterproof credit
card remote offering the same easy to use
technology onboard as at home.
The Nautic Audio series also includes a
selection of quality marine speakers providing
superb acoustical clarity, high performance
amplifiers, wired remote controls and Slave
DVD and CD players, which will be available
from the C A Clase stand at London Boat
Show.
Also making its UK debut is the Geonav 3,
an outstanding multi function GPS chart
plotter combining marine, land, hiking and
skiing navigation in one easy to use unit.
Featuring a 2.2" transflactive colour
TFT LCD screen with a sharp 320 x 240 pixel
display, it provides excellent definition
and graphical performance even in direct
sunlight. This lightweight, water resistant
and portable unit is a fully programmable
chart plotter compatible with both Navionics
Land & Sea and Navionics Platinum charts
offering practical information and support
for mariners, including 3D navigation, satellite
images, panoramic port pictures and coastal
aerial photographs. It also features exclusive
Navionics multi dimensional electronic outdoor
cartography which allows skiers to navigate
throughout any ski resort in the Alps.
In addition to marine, road and skiing cartography,
the Geonav 3 provides coastal road networks
and information about paths, refuges, mountains
and other important details relevant to
hikers. This unique GPS is great value priced
at £349 INC VAT and is suitable for
all adventure loving enthusiasts.
Visitors who missed the UK launch of the
KVH TracVision M series at the Southampton
Boat Show, will have a second opportunity
to check out the range as it makes its London
debut. This high performance line of DVB
compatible, fully stabilized TracVision
TV antennas deliver popular satellite entertainment
onboard thanks to KVH's exclusive 'RingFire'
technology. 'RingFire' offers a remarkable,
breakthrough in antenna design, to provide
wider geographic coverage and the best reception
available, even in extreme weather. Displaying
the M3, M5, M7 and M9, the KVH TracVision
offers an antenna to suit every size and
type of boat and prices start at £3,999
including VAT.
