The Sailor SC4000 Iridium is the only fixed satellite telephone to connect you to the whole of the world*. The compact SC4000 consists of three units: the antenna SA4110, the transceiver ST4120, and the intelligent handset SC4150 (a handset and control unit in one), that allows up to four handsets to operate.  The SC4000 is well suited for all types of vessels from fishing boats to yachts and cruise liners. The system is also compatible with SSAS (Ship Security Alert System).

Call charges for using the Sailor SC4000 are inexpensive, and the phone is capable of voice, fax, data and SMS communication.  The standard data rate is 2.4 kbps, however, an increased rate is available by using the Direct Internet Service.
