The TACNAV
M100 GMENS (Ground Mobility Enhanced Navigation
System) is a digital compass-based battlefield
navigation system that is type-classified
by U.S. SOCOM and designed specifically
for non-turreted vehicles. One of the lowest
cost tactical navigation systems available,
the M100 offers a range of capabilities,
including GPS backup and enhancement, vehicle
position, hull azimuth, and steer-to/cross-track
error displays. And when linked to a digital
Battle Management System (BMS), the M100
can provide the force commander with continuous,
jam-proof position data, improving operational
effectiveness and increasing force optempo.
With its versatile Driver’s and optional
Commander’s Displays and BMS interface,
the M100 brings a new level of flexibility
