• DataSat Network uses the Stratos' Master Earth Station, satellite channels and remote terminals (VSATs). A remote terminal includes an outdoor antenna (typically 1.2 or 1.8 meters) an Outdoor Unit (ODU) and an Indoor Unit (IDU). Modular VSAT Unit
Stratos' DataSat VSAT unit offers intrinsic modular flexibility. The basic unit comes with two serial ports and Ethernet LAN. This design enables field upgradeability by allowing the addition of optional PC-like plug-and-play cards to support a variety of interfaces and applications. At each remote site, the plug-in cards are simply inserted in the VSAT back panel, without opening the casing.
